Large Format Print & Graphics
We print on a wide range of materials to address a wide range of graphics needs - and all our print is produced to very high standards, with no banding and the best and widest range colour matching that the materials are capable of.
We print on all materials using both light and dark inks to produce anything from subtle tones, precise skin tones, through to high impact graphics. All machines and materials are calibrated in-house, from setting the density of each ink through the the full media profile.
We print using both pigment inks for photographic precision and museum grade print life; and solvent for durable outdoor and display graphics.
We handle from small 1 off bespoke graphics, packages for shows and events or corporate branding / re-branding, through to production runs.
There is such a wide range available, it is more helpful to talk about applications and then identify which materials are most suitable for each task.
Photographic (indoor)PHOTO paper -Heavy weight museum grade Kodak Gloss or Lustre printed with museum grade pigment inks (upto 36 by 60 inch; 91cm by 150cm) Canvas (available both loose & stretched) printed with museum grade pigment inks (upto 120inch by 60 inch; 300cm by 150cm) Art Papers - Museum Grade (cotton paper & Watercolour textured) printed with museum grade pigment inks (upto 36 by 60 inch; 91cm by 150cm) Vinyl (matt or gloss) board mounted solvent printed for events, shows, POS, and large scale walls/backdrops, or for large scale wall pictures - can be framed for "glass-less" pictures for children's areas etc. (upto 120inch by 60 inch; 300cm by 150cm; can be panelled for larger graphics) Very durable and wipe-able (3 year weather proof and outdoor UV fade resilient) Polypropylene board mounted pigment printed true dead-pan matt with extended colour range. Superb for lit graphics, stage use, and photo backdrops (no flash glare) for events, shows, POS, and large scale walls/backdrops, or for large scale wall pictures. Event & Display & Signage (indoor)Light-stop grey backed polypropylene. All solvent printed, outdoor UV stable with wide photographic colour range and printed to photo quality. Available in three make-ups to match their applications. a) Light weight for roll-ups, with or without overlaminate for scratch resistance. b) Lightweight with integral scuff & scratch resistant coating for roll-ups (& posters) c) Heavyweight with matched overlaminate for pop-up displays and banner hangers. Available with new roll-up or pop-up displays, or just as weather proof posters, or as replacement re-fills for roll-ups & pop-ups. Polypropylene board mounted pigment printed true dead-pan matt with extended colour range. Superb for lit graphics, stage use, and photo backdrops (no flash glare) for events, shows, POS, and large scale walls/backdrops, or for large scale wall pictures. (upto 120inch by 60 inch; 300cm by 150cm) Translucent and clear vinyls mounted on diffusing perspex for photographic light boxes (upto 96inch by 48 inch; 240cm by 120cm) Paper & synthetic paper (polypropylene based true dead-pan matt with extended colour range) for posters, display boxes and commercial applications. (upto 120inch by 60 inch; 300cm by 150cm) - Synthetic paper also works well as a lightbox insertMetallic vinyls - available in Gold or Silver - Silver is the most effective, can be printed with photographic colours yielding many metallic colour effects - Good for special effect displays, and can be cut for shapes and lettering. Easytac Polypropylene - A thick polypropylene solvent printed with a special adhesive - simple to apply and to remove, leaving no marks or adhesive behind - but good enough to stick to a car for a week or so ! Brilliant for short term graphics, and events. (use on hotel doors, or anywhere that temporary signage is required and fixings cannot be used) Can also be cut to letters and shapes and supplied with backing ready to apply. Fantastic colour range and durability. Easytac Fabric. Fabric version of the above, can go around corners more easily without lifting. The colour range is not as good as the polypropylene. M1 fire rated fabric, available loose & stretched (like a canvas) for displays, public places and stage use. (upto 120inch by 60 inch; 300cm by 150cm) Lightweight Flag material - excellent for hanging applications, and for use as a cloth. |

Outdoor Signage (& event materials)Most of our solvent printed materials are good for outdoor use, for long term outdoor exposure and resistance to mechanical damage from scuffs and scratches we recommend over lamination. For outdoor applications we usually recommend a textured matt over laminate which is very durable and matches the vinyl to give maximum life. Light-stop grey backed polypropylene. All solvent printed, outdoor UV stable with wide photographic colour range and printed to photo quality. The lightweight with integral scuff & scratch resistant coating makes superb weather proof posters, and is excellent in pavement signs and the like. (Our other grey-backed polypropylene when over laminated is also suitable for short-term outdoor use in roll-ups etc) Vinyl (matt or gloss) Vinyl is the best long term outdoor material. It is usually used cut to letters or shapes and adhered to hard clean surfaces, or board/acrylic mounted. Solvent printed with or without Overlaminate is available upto 120inch by 60 inch; 300cm by 150cm; can be panelled for larger graphics. Also used with acrylic for 3D graphics applications and illuminated displays. We run more than one type of vinyl. One is good for upto 5 years outdoor with overlaminate, the other upto 7 years with overlaminate - and often the practical life is better than the quoted. Very wide colour range and great for high impact graphics or outdoor photographic images. We also run transparent vinyl and vinyl laminates suitable for window graphics applications. Banner - The traditional printed banner - available with finished edges and eyelets - upto 5ft by 50ft ! (1.5M by 16M) - Banners upto 6 Meters we can print to photo quality where precise colour matching, or photo image quality is important. We also run banner at a faster rate with only minimal quality loss for large scale applications. Banner life is limited by the banner material itself which dries out of its elasticizes over time and eventually cracks - a banner is good for 3 years if looked after. Our banner is fire rated. |
